Seems like you can remove the URL to your post and replace it with the source URL (so you’re not referring people to your Tumblr all the time). Which is great, but if you do that it makes the Tweet appear on the dashboard as well… and that could get annoying. Suppose you could keep the main URL and do a via like Friend Feed does.
I started a thread on it here if anyones interested.
For Tumblrs who use Friend Feed & Friend Feeders who use Tumblr. Seemed like a good idea for about 30 seconds. I’m getting used to Friend Feed more, largely because of its functionality. But Tumblrs my first love. Feel free to use this space for whatever you think might be useful, recommending plug-ins, suggesting ideas, moan, thinking of ways to integrate the two more, posting good Tumblrs you like. Sometimes the dashboard gets a bit swamped.
All welcome, as long as you bring cake.

I originally discovered Tumblr through Susannah Breslin’s blog, and have been feverishly tumbling ever since. It has, for various reasons, improved my world. So it’s a bit strange to see her stop (when she had such excellent taste as well).
She’s a writer, and I talk in pictures, not in words, and these things are tools, not solutions, so it does make sense.
still a bit sad tho.
