Today is this tumblog’s first birthday.
When I started, that day, I had no idea what I was doing, and in many ways, I still don’t.
Thank you to followers and especially to those who communicate and have given me support and encouragement (you know who you are), it has meant an awful lot to me.
I could go into more detail about: why I like tumbling - that I didn’t expect to make friends here, but did - that it feels like community to me - that it works like the way I think - that I meant to put more of my own stuff on it, but have been too busy - how it works for me better than any other web tool - how it has gently improved the quality of my life. But that all seems unnecessary.
Here’s to you, my Friends I’ve Never Seen.
